Description: Its Halloween time! So it is Cylon Scanner time! :) This is a really really REALLY bare boards Arduino Cylon Scanner mad with only 12 components (cheating a bit). You can use it for a Cylon Jack o Lantern or by putting it on a tshirt on your kids, or go the full nine yards and make the rest of the Cylon and put at the door! :)

Find more information here: http://www.duinos.net/show/?id=138

It uses code by Happy Pancake over att the Arduino Forums:
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=171567.0

Just download the code and build this simple cirvuit and you are good to go in just a few hour(s) (depending on your JEDI master skills with the soldering iron...)

What you need are 10 LEDS (and if you dont want to cheat 10 resistors) one Programmed ATMega 328 (do that with your arduino IDE platform). and one Oscillator Resonator.

Here is a pin diagram for the ATMega328 with Arduino IDE platform reference:
http://www.duinos.net/files/2013/atmega328w.png

Connect the plus pin of the LEDS to port 2-11 of the Arduino (or pin 4,5,6,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 on the ATMega 328)

If using a bare board ATMega328 then connect ground to pin 8 and 22 and +5V to pin 7 and 20. Connect the Oscillator Resonator to pin 9 and 10 to pin 1 and 3 of the resonator. Connect the middle pin (2) to ground. Oscillator Resonators can be found on ebay for 0.99$ for three of them including world wide shipping.

Done! Happy halloween don't let the Cylons get you!
